Valentin A. B. Küchle (Kuechle)

I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics Education at Charles University.  I received my Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from Michigan State University and worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Auburn University.

My research is in undergraduate mathematics education, particularly instructors' pedagogical choices (e.g., use of pedagogical proof moves, use of teacher discourse moves, use of group work) and students' experiences (e.g., learning during the pandemic, during group work, in active learning recitations).  Most of my studies are connected by the common thread of discourse.
